Jalapeno Cilantro Lime Sauce

Peppers, Citrus and Garlic – Three of my favorite things combined to make a great southwest marinade that pairs well with steak and seafood.

Jalapeno Cilantro Lime Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil

  • 1/2 cup Lime Juice

  • 1 -2 medium Jalapenos

  • 1 cup Cilantro leaves and stems (about 1/2 a bunch)

  • 4 to 6 Fresh Garlic cloves

  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Directions

  • Remove stems from jalapenos and peel garlic cloves
  • Place all ingredients in blender
  • Pulse until finely minced and well blended
  • Use as a marinade or serve over grilled steak or seafood

Notes

  • For a creamy taco salad dressing, combine equal parts sauce with sour cream or buttermilk.
