Peppers, Citrus and Garlic – Three of my favorite things combined to make a great southwest marinade that pairs well with steak and seafood.
Jalapeno Cilantro Lime Sauce

Ingredients
1/2 cup Olive Oil
1/2 cup Lime Juice
1 -2 medium Jalapenos
1 cup Cilantro leaves and stems (about 1/2 a bunch)
4 to 6 Fresh Garlic cloves
1 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
Directions
- Remove stems from jalapenos and peel garlic cloves
- Place all ingredients in blender
- Pulse until finely minced and well blended
- Use as a marinade or serve over grilled steak or seafood
Notes
- For a creamy taco salad dressing, combine equal parts sauce with sour cream or buttermilk.
